Job Description

We’re adding a Client Marketing Coordinator to our growing Calgary office! The Coordinator will join the Client Marketing Team to manage a portfolio of Venture’s exciting clients. If you’re motivated, organized, dedicated to client success and an exceptional communicator, then this role is for you (willingness to engage in nerf gun wars also considered an asset (BYONG)).

Core Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • The successful development of both online and offline projects, working with a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team of resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget with complete accuracy.
  • Planning, scheduling and control of all project activities toward these objectives, applying technical, theoretical and managerial skills to satisfy project requirements, while building positive professional relationships with vendors, colleagues and clients.
  • Working both independently and with team members to estimate costs for new project work, including change management elements on active projects. Providing regular updates on project status and budget.
  • Development of specs for projects as needed.
  • Quality assurance and proofreading of all project work.
  • Actively follow the Venture process for delivering marketing programs. Deliver client contact reports, budget control reports; develop accurate estimates in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Manage the relationship in a professional, ethical and disciplined manner.
  • Work with other teams to integrate Venture’s offerings into a holistic approach based on the customers’ needs.
  • Support business development efforts through contributions to RFP responses as well as new business meetings with prospective clients; always thinking about how we can better serve clients and grow their business.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 1-3 years of related work experience. Advertising agency experience an asset.
  • Experience in managing projects budgets and schedules for: Print, Broadcast (Television, Radio), Direct Mail, Websites, Digital Marketing – Online Display & Rich Media, Email, Social Media and CRM projects.
  • Proven experience in and successful management of projects with cross-functional teams (Client Marketing, Creative, Production, Strategy, Media, Digital and Events).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including extremely strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Expert in PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills.
