A savvy, resourceful and engaging full time Social Media Coordinator to join our team. This exciting role plays an integral part of the Social Media team, for a variety of clients. The successful candidate will have proven creative, strategic and communications skills with a high attention to detail and ability to manage a variety of projects simultaneously.

Core Duties and Responsibilities include:

  1. Creation of social media strategy and (weekly or monthly) editorial calendars, for a variety of clients, based on marketing objectives
  2. Keeping abreast of industry trends, insights, topics and best practices
  3. Research and social auditing for various industries and segments
  4. Implementation, scheduling and posting of all content for a core group of clients
  5. Daily monitoring and engaging within social channels, with continuous optimization and recommendations
  6. Ongoing analysis of social data and metrics; issuing weekly, monthly and yearly reports and executing appropriate strategies and recommendations for improvement
  7. Collaborate with other departments to create integrated marketing campaigns
  8. Set up, optimize and manage clients’ social profiles and Google Places pages
  9. Paid social media campaign execution (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram paid / boosted content)
  10. Manage and edit content across a variety of web and in-store digital properties

Desired skills and experience:

  1. 1-2 years in a related capacity (digital, social media, public relations).
  2. Knowledge of online marketing and understanding of major marketing channels and marketing fundamentals all considered assets
  3. Demonstrated experience in developing comprehensive social media strategies with proven marketing-driven results (please submit any valid case studies).
  4. Superior social media analytics knowledge and experience.
  5. Excellent grammar skills and high attention to detail
  6. Demonstrated experience with social media content creation (including blog writing, promotional campaign creation, and infographics) across various channels and media types (Adobe Creative Suite and graphic design skills consider assets).
  7. In-depth understanding of growth and sustaining tactics for social followership
  8. Photography and editing software experience an asset, including expertise with smartphone-based tools
  9. Demonstrated competency on all social media channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, G+ and YouTube
  10. Proficiency in WordPress and Adobe Design Suite considered assets
  11. Experience utilizing social media management software, such as Hootsuite, or Sprout Social as well as social listening tools
  12. Ability to work collaboratively across departments
  13. Pro-active, entrepreneurial mindset
  14. Agency experience and French language proficiency considered assets
