We are currently seeking a Project Manager for our Calgary office. This role will interact with Account Managers and other team members from across the agency, and lead successful delivery of online and offline projects for our clients.

Core Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • The Project Manager is ultimately responsible for the successful development of both online and offline projects, working with a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team of resources to ensure projects are delivered on-time and on budget with complete accuracy.
  • Planning, scheduling and control of all project activities toward these objectives, applying technical, theoretical and managerial skills to satisfy project requirements, while building positive professional relationships with vendors, colleagues and associates.
  • Working both independently and with team members to estimate costs for new project work, including change management elements on active projects. Providing regular updates on project status and budget.
  • Development of specs for projects as needed.
  • Quality assurance and proof-reading of all project work.
  • Practices project management principles, methods and techniques; recommends process/procedural improvements.

Desired skills and experience:

  • 5+ years of work related experience required, in role(s) that required careful data reporting, analysis and data collection from multiple, varied sources. Advertising agency experience an asset.
  • Experience in managing projects budgets and schedules for: Print, Broadcast (Television, Radio), Direct Mail, Websites, Digital Marketing – Online Display & Rich Media, Email, Social Media and CRM projects
  • Proven experience in and successful management of projects with cross-functional teams (Client Marketing, Creative, Production, Strategy, Media, Interactive and Events)
  • A deep understanding of print production, broadcast production, website development methodologies and experience in managing websites in multiple programming languages (HTML, ASP, ASP.NET, PHP and Flash) is an asset
  • Strong understanding and continuous execution of the fundamentals of project management, including: Scoping Project Specifications, Scheduling, Risk Management, Issue Management, Change Management, etc. PMP or CAMP certifications preferred.

We are currently looking to add a full time Social Media Manager to our Calgary team. This role is responsible for developing and executing innovative social media marketing campaigns for a variety of clients under the direction of the Director of Content & Social Media.  The successful candidate will have proven creative, strategic and communications skills with dedicated experience growing international social media accounts (both existing and start-up-based), and a thorough understanding of content marketing principles.

Core Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Create, manage and execute content strategies by translating overall brand strategy into campaigns on appropriate social media channels
  • Oversee proof-reading and approval of monthly client calendars, adhering to brand voice and tone
  • Development of social media playbooks and How-To documents that comply with up-to-date, international rules, regulations and policies
  • Work in collaboration with paid media strategies to amplify efforts; implement boosted content buys
  • Develop and generate meaningful, shareable content that incites action and engagement (short form copywriting, microcontent)

Job description

We are currently looking to add a Client Marketing Director to our Calgary team, to manage a roster of top tier clients. This role is a senior client management position, responsible for managing strategy, campaign management, leading a team of senior/junior account managers, and driving new business for some of our largest clients.

Core Duties and Responsibilities include

  • Lead Venture key customer accounts with a focus on building customer loyalty, maintaining customer relationships and generating additional service opportunities;
  • Drive excellence across the agency in our client deliverables, from strategy through to creative product and execution.
  • Actively follow the Venture process for delivering marketing programs. Deliver Client Contact Reports, Budget Control Reports; develop accurate estimates in a timely and appropriate manner. Manage the relationship in a professional, ethical and disciplined manner.
  • Work with other teams to integrate Venture’s offerings into a holistic approach based on the customers’ needs;
  • Support business development efforts through contributions to RFP responses as well as new business meetings with prospective clients; always thinking about how we can better serve clients and grow their business.
  • Responsible for client satisfaction metrics, client acquisition goals, and profit goals.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 7-10 years of related agency experience with proven ability as a self-starter and client relationship leader.
